The 1914 edition of Nelson’s Atlas of the War. The book is undated, but the content clearly shows that it was published very soon after the outbreak of war in 1914. The book includes numerous maps of Britain and Europe, some double page, several coloured. With illustrations of aircraft, airships, armament, and naval vessels, and details of the fortifications of Belgium, the armed forces of the Great Powers, and other national military statistics.
Condition: In good condition. The illustrated boards are in good condition, with general signs of wear and use and a few marks. The binding and hinges are good and secure. The text and maps are in very good condition, with a few marks.
