Illustrated with photographs and diagrams, the book covers the standard issue service rifles of the British Army before and during WW1: the Lee Enfield MK II charger loading magazine rifle, the Lee Enfield MK III SMLE, and the Martini Enfield Rifle (which was used by Volunteer Training Corps units before the start of the war).
