An original WW2 edition of this Lewis Machine Gun handbook, published by Gale & Polden in July 1941. Originally published in 1919, the book includes details of the use and mechanism of the Lewis Gun. It is illustrated with black and white photographs, and coloured diagrams of the mechanism of the Lewis.
The Lewis Gun was manufactured by both B.S.A. of Birmingham and the Savage Arms Co. of New York. Lewis Gun Mechanism Made Easy is a practical guide to the handling and maintenance of the Lewis Gun as used by the British Army during WW1 and WW2. It includes details of parts and information on how to remedy stoppages.
Condition:
In good condition. The card cover shows general signs of wear and use and some marks. The stapled binding is good and secure. The text and illustrations are in good condition.
