An original WW2 aircraft identification handbook, published by the Real Photographs Co. Ltd c.1942. The book is undated, but includes the Spitfire IX which was introduced in 1942. With illustrations and brief specifications of RAF fighter and bomber aircraft that would be encountered up to late 1942. It also includes dot to dot templates of each of the aircraft featured, intended to allow the reader to create their own individual versions of the original illustrations. Aircraft covered include: Spitfire, Hurricane, Halifax, Mosquito, Sunderland, Anson, Beaufighter, Whirlwind, etc.
In good condition. The card cover is in good condition, with signs of use, and some marks. The stapled binding is secure, although the original staples are rusty. The text and illustrations are in good condition with some marks. The dot to dot templates have remnants of pencil marks and some faint colouring-in.
