An original British Army Bren Light Machine Gun handbook, published by Gale & Polden during WW2, c.1940. Produced with the permission of the War Office, it includes instructions as taught at the British Army Small Arns Schools during WW2. Beautifully illustrated, with clear and concise instructions, it describes the workings and use of the Bren gun.
The Bren Light Machine Gun is a practical guide to all aspects of handling the Bren Gun, its mechanism, and parts. It is presented in a compact, folding, 12 page booklet format which is very clearly illustrated with excellent drawings and diagrams, including a detailed colour fold-out diagram of the Bren Gun.
In very good condition. The card cover shows hardly any signs of wear or use. The stapled binding is good and secure, although the staples are rusty. The text and diagrams are in very good condition, with just a couple of minor marks and two Imperial War Museum ink stamps.
