The extremely rare 1905 eighth edition of the official War Office ammunition handbook. Treatise on Ammunition is a superbly illustrated handbook of the explosives, shells, fuzes, and small arms ammunition in use with the British Armed Forces just before the start of WW1. Subjects covered include: Cordite, Guncotton, Primers, Cartridges, High Explosive shells, Shrapnel Shells, Projectiles for B.L. guns, ammunition for Q.F. guns, Fuzes, Detonators, Rockets, Star shells, and Small Arms ammunition.
