The .303 Vickers was the standard British Army heavy machine gun throughout both the First and Second World Wars. This volume is a very comprehensive handbook of all aspects of machine gun use and tactics, from elementary drill, ballistics, range-finding, packing and transport to instructions for use of the gun in combat.
