AIRCRAFT SPOTTER DIAL
CERTIFIED BREAD, USA, c.1942
An original WW2 Aircraft Spotter Dial, produced during the war as an advertising item for a US bread company. The same design was used by other companies, including the 'Wonder Bread Co.' Aircraft recognition dials such as this were produced in the UK and the USA throughout WW2, with a revolving inner dial which showed different aircraft in the viewing window when rotated. This one includes aircraft of all the combatant nations: Britain, Germany, USA, Italy, Russia, and Japan.
Condition:
The card cover and rotating card insert are in very good condition and full working order.
