HANDBOOK OF THE VICKERS
RIFLE CALIBRE GUN

Light Model (Class C)

Printed & Published by VICKERS LIMITED, 1915

A very rare original Vickers Rifle Calibre machine gun handbook covering the use and maintenance of the Vickers .303 Light Machine Gun. The Vickers-Maxim .303 was the standard British Army machine gun in both world wars, seeing extensive use on the Western Front and all other theatres of war in WW1. With full details of the mechanism, assembly, ammunition supply, stripping, cleaning, troubleshooting and firing instructions, this factory-produced handbook would have been intended for use both in training and in the front line. The handbook is  illustrated with technical drawings of the Vickers Rifle Calibre Gun and its mechanism.
